CAD/Revit SPECIALIST Full Time (4-7 years’ experience)

The CAD/Revit Specialist is responsible for the following duties:

  • Constructs detailed drawings, which includes building layouts, wiring diagrams and schematics, mechanical details, conduit and electrical runs, and overall layout of system design
  • Consults with engineering staff on development of plans and designs for installations and prepares layout diagrams to ensure accurate interpretation of designs
  • Insures drawings follow the creation and review process
  • Coordinates with the field employees for any design changes during installation and for final drawing changes
  • Completes plans (Survey, Proposed, Preliminary, Construction, As Built) using AutoCAD 2014 and Revit
  • Follows the drawings/Symbol Standards set by the company and government sources
  • Coordinates with field installation personnel for in progress installation changes, red lines and as built accuracy
  • Reads and creates detailed schematics, wire diagrams, conduit schedules, and system layouts.
  • Conducts site surveys and site visits as necessary
  • Assist with installation and standards documents such as Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Performs basic installation requirements as necessary
  • Provides basics technical direction and clarification of drawings to installation teams as needed
  • Other duties as required



  • High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree in Computer Aided Drafting or equivalent work experience/trainings preferred.
  • 3 years’ experience with Revit & AutoCAD 2014 or newer version required. Must be proficient in use and be able to provide sample work products
  • Basic experience using VISIO for network and rack diagrams required. Must be moderately experienced in use of VISIO
  • Must be able to create drawings from scratch to include, scale, borders, symbols
  • Work experience with detailed electrical diagrams and schematics, basic knowledge of reading and interpreting civil, electrical, and mechanical blue prints
  • Technical Writing Experience Preferred
  • Must be able to determine technical application requirements and review proposed designs for missing components, hardware choices, conduit sizing and wire types.
  • Must be able to ensure preliminary, constructions and as built documentation is accurate and detailed.


  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows Platform
  • Must be highly proficient in Revit & Auto-CAD 2014 or newer version
  • Must have good public/interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work designated schedule, as well as maintain attendance and punctuality
  • Must be organized, reliable and detail oriented


  • Must have sufficient physical agility to walk, climb, stand, crawl, and stretch
  • Able to sit at computer for 6-8 hours a day
  • Able to manipulate small objects
  • Able to lift minimum of 50 lbs
  • Able to grip without shaking
  • Able to use computer, keyboard, mouse, and printers
  • Able to work in indoor and outdoor environments
  • Able to travel < 20% of the time to remote US locations
